Cookie Policy

This policy lists every cookie and piece of browser storage Intervyo ("we", "us", "our") uses, what each one does, and how you control them. Analytics and marketing storage only ever runs if you choose to allow it on the cookie banner. Nothing in this policy assumes your consent from the fact that you are using the site.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Browser storage (localStorage) is a similar mechanism that stays on your device until it is cleared. We use both, and this policy covers both. Where a table row below says "browser storage", it is not a cookie but works in a comparable way.
How consent works here
The first time you visit, a banner offers two equally prominent choices: Accept analytics or Essential only. Your choice is recorded in a single cookie called iv_consent.
- Until you choose, no analytics or marketing storage runs at all. The banner does not block the page; you can ignore it and browse with essential cookies only.
- If you choose essential only, analytics never loads, the marketing attribution cookie is never set, and any analytics cookies left over from an earlier visit are deleted.
- If you accept, Google Analytics and Ahrefs load and the attribution cookie can be set. You can withdraw this at any time (see below).
Essential cookies keep the site working and cannot be switched off; everything else waits for your choice.

Alongside the demo token, the free demo also sends a basic device signal (screen size, language, time zone) used solely to prevent abuse of the free demo. It is not used for tracking or advertising.
Storage in the app
If you sign up, the app at app.intervyo.co.uk uses browser storage rather than tracking cookies:

The app also records first-party usage events (for example which features you use) sent to our own database only. No third-party analytics runs inside the app.
Third parties
- Google Analytics 4, aggregate site analytics. Loads only after you accept analytics.
- Ahrefs, cookieless site analytics. Loads only after you accept analytics.
- Stripe, payment pages are hosted by Stripe, which applies its own cookie policy on its own domain.

Withdrawing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. The Cookie settings link in the footer of every page clears your saved choice and shows the banner again, so you can pick differently. Choosing essential only stops analytics from that point on and deletes our analytics cookies.
Your browser also lets you view, delete, or block cookies directly. For Google Analytics specifically there is also the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Impact of blocking essential storage
- Blocking all cookies in your browser may stop the free demo working and stop referral links being honoured
- In the app, blocking browser storage prevents signing in
- Your preferences may not be saved between visits
