Many employers accept applications while you are still at school and make offers conditional on your results. Check the vacancy for its UCAS points or A-level requirements, subject choices and GCSE maths and English requirements. Eligibility can differ between roles at the same firm, including whether an existing degree rules you out.

Yes. You can apply to university and apprenticeships in parallel. Apprenticeship applications go through the employer, separately from your UCAS course application. Check the conditions and response deadlines on each offer before deciding which route to accept.

In England, these describe the level of the qualification. Level 3 is A-level standard and Level 4 is higher education below a full degree. A Level 6 degree apprenticeship includes a bachelor's degree. Level 7 is master's-level study; an accountancy apprenticeship may lead to ACA, ACCA or CTA rather than a master's degree.
