Before a deadline in the table means anything, check whether a direct application exists at that firm at all. Sort your list into three categories. That is the test for every why-this-firm response. If a reader could no longer tell which firm you meant, it is not finished. Specificity comes from the practice mix, the clients the firm serves, and one piece of its work you can discuss concretely: what the deal was for and why it held your attention.
